NORA Being Evaluated

Worker Fall

Founded in 1996, The National Occupational Research Agenda (NORA) “has become a research framework for NIOSH and the nation. Diverse parties collaborate to identify the most critical issues in workplace safety and health. . . Participation in NORA is broad, including stakeholders from universities, large and small business, professional societies, government agencies, and worker organizations.”

We discussed last week how groups like the NPPTL have a significant impact on the efforts of NIOSH and the CDC as a whole. NIOSH, or the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, is requesting comments from its partners and the public to evaluate the impact of NORA. The deadline for comments is March 24, 2015.

If you would like to submit for comment, visit regulations.gov and search for CDC-2015-0002.
